親愛的弟兄姊妹，
「這福音本是神的大能，要救一切相信的人。」(羅1:16)
在一整年的封區封城，和這近幾個月的疫苗注射，感謝神，威爾斯的疫情持續下降，雖然仍在第四級別的戒備，但社交往來和商業活動正逐步恢復運作，祈禱我們可以早日面對面見面了！
我們以前都是死在過犯罪惡中，行事為人身不由己，慘受罪孽的綑鎖，飽經死亡的威嚇，是主耶穌來為我們擔罪、贖罪，叫一切信祂的，不至滅亡，反得永生。
祂救我們脫離罪惡的權勢而進入自由。罪惡的權勢是要我們隨從今世的風俗，順服空中掌權者的首領，放縱肉體的私慾; 我們的存在，只是以今生的世界為目標，為了附和潮流而失去自我。耶穌來了，祂就是真理，真理叫我們得着自由。
祂救我們脫離死亡的威嚇得著永生。在疫情的威嚇下，我們過去一年都面臨着死亡的陰影。為保護自己，也為保護別人，我們選擇了家居隔離，封區封城的高度戒備安全措施，為的是把這身體活下去。耶穌來了，祂就是生命，復活的大能叫我們無懼死亡，並有永生。
祂救我們脫離失敗的人生，得着豐盛的生命。人生成長的歷程，遇着眾多的十字路口，何去何從，都是艱難痛苦的決定。一失足成千古恨，錯誤的決定，遺憾終身，一次失敗，是否永無翻身之日呢？耶穌來了，祂尋找迷路的羊，祂慈聲呼喚：我就是光，跟從我的，就不在黑暗裏走，必要得着生命的光。
4月4日，今年的復活主日，我們信徒相約聚集一起，紀念主復活的日子。讓我們放下人生的重擔，憂慮，勞累和傷痛，同到主跟前，親近神，敬拜主，用心靈和誠實敬拜祂。

<He is Risen>
Dear brothers and sisters,
‘The gospel is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.’ (Rom 1:16)
After a whole year of lockdown, and vaccinations in the recent months, we thank God that the Covid cases in Wales continue to decline. Although it is still on alert level 4, social contacts and business activities are gradually resuming. Pray that we can meet face to face soon!
We were all dead in our transgressions and sins, under the bondage of sin and the threat of death. It’s the Lord Jesus who came to bear and atone for our sins, so that all who believe in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
He saves us from the power of sin and gives us eternal life. We used to follow the ways of this world and the ruler of the kingdom of the air, gratifying the cravings of our flesh. Our existence only aims at the world and we follow its desires and thoughts. Jesus comes, He is the truth, and the truth sets us free.
He saves us from the threat of death to eternal life. Under the threat of the pandemic, we have all faced the shadow of death in the past year. In order to protect ourselves and others, we chose home isolation and obey safety measures in order to be alive. Jesus has come. He is life. The power of resurrection saves us from the fear of death and gives us eternal life.
He saves us from a life of failure and give us an abundant life. Through the journey of life, we encounter many crossroads. It’s often a difficult and painful decision on where to go. One single slip brings eternal regret. A wrong decision may result in regret for a lifetime. Is there never a way to turn around? Jesus comes. He looks for the lost sheep. He kindly calls, ‘I am the light. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’
This year’s Easter Sunday is on 4th April. Let us gather together to remember the Lord’s resurrection. Let us put aside our burdens, worries, hardship and pains of life, and come to the Lord together to get close to Him, to worship Him in spirit and truth.
